Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy describes the policies and procedures concerning the collection, use, and disclosure of information within Carez (the “Service”), which is provided by the Carez Operations Office (the “Operator”). The Operator receives information from users through websites, applications, services, and other channels.
By using any part of the Service, you consent to this Privacy Policy with respect to the collection, transfer, processing, storage, disclosure, and other use of information. Regardless of the country in which a user resides or the location from which the Service is used, information received from users may be used in Japan and in other countries where the Operator conducts its operations.
Collection and Use of Information
All information obtained through the Service is used to improve the Service.
Analysis of Information
The Operator analyzes text, images, and other data posted or otherwise transmitted by users through the Service (the “Posted Information”) solely for the purpose of (i) determining whether the Posted Information falls within any of the following categories or (ii) developing and operating systems to remove Posted Information falling within any such category from the Service.
(1) Posted Information whose content violates applicable laws or regulations, or any terms or rules relating to the Service
(2) Posted Information that induces or may induce unlawful conduct
(3) Posted Information that infringes or may infringe the rights of a third party
(4) In addition to items (1) through (3) above, any other Posted Information that the Operator deems inappropriate
Information Collected at Registration
When registering for the Service, users may be required to provide information such as their name, photograph, age, and gender.
Log Data
The servers used for the Service automatically record information regarding use of the Service (the “Log Data”). Log Data includes interactions with websites, applications, and advertisements, such as clicks.
Use of Third-Party Services within the Service
The Operator uses various services provided by other companies in order to provide the Service. For example, the Operator may use Google Analytics to understand how the Service is used. These third-party services may collect information such as a user’s IP address when the user uses the application.
Sharing and Disclosure of Information
Users’ personal information will not be disclosed publicly except in the limited circumstances described in this Privacy Policy.
Legal Compliance and Prevention of Harm
The Operator may retain or disclose a user’s information when it reasonably believes that doing so is necessary to comply with a law, regulation, or legal request; protect the safety of any person; address abuse or security or technical issues; or protect the rights or property of the Operator.
Non-Confidential or Non-Personal Information
The Operator may share or disclose to third parties non-confidential, aggregated, or non-personal statistical information concerning users for advertising, marketing, and other purposes.
Deletion of Personal Information
Users may delete their accounts for the Service. When an account is deleted, the user’s information will be promptly deleted from the servers used for the Service.
Changes to This Policy
The Operator may revise this Privacy Policy as necessary. The latest version of the Privacy Policy will always apply to users’ personal information. If the Operator makes a revision that it considers material, it will provide notice of that revision. By continuing to access or use the Service after a revision takes effect, the user will be deemed to have agreed to be bound by the latest version of the Privacy Policy.
